Katie Holmes, Maybe You Shouldn't Let Little Suri Pick Out Your Shoes!

The tot who’s behind her mom’s footwear seems to have slipped up with her stellar style record!

I thought Katie Holmes looked so stylish and sexy when she stepped out last night for the The Cinema Society and J. Crew’s screening of her latest flick, The Romantics, in NYC on Sept. 7 — that is, until I looked down at her feet! Katie paired her super short Jason Wu printed dress, a pair of tights, and a jacket from her own line, Holmes & Yang, with brown Azzedine Alaia pumps. Don’t get me wrong, it’s nothing against the shoes– they just didn’t match her get-up and Suri is totally to blame!

Just yesterday, the proud mom was on Live! With Regis and Kelly where she confessed that she lets her little girl pick out her pumps before major red carpet events!

Katie said, “Many times, I’ll be getting ready for an event and I’ll ask her what she thinks. She goes, ‘Definitely those,’ and she won’t let me leave unless I’m wearing what she wants me to wear. She has great taste and I want to make her happy!”

It’s clear little Suri gets what she wants, and while Katie may be trying to please her daughter, I don’t think taking style advice from someone who goes out in a pair of fuzzy slippers is in her best interest! You may think it sounds super cute, but I definitely think it’s kooky — and as adorable as she is, Suri shouldn’t have a temper tantrum over the shoes Katie chooses for a major premiere! What do you think?
