Kate manages to juggle being Mrs. Cruise and a mom flawlessly, but she reveals she’s not adding any additions to her brood just yet!
We’ve got to hand it to Katie Holmes, 31, because she’s looking more stunning than ever on the October issue of Marie Claire. The gorgeous brunette gushes about her adorable daughter Suri Cruise, 4, and her husband of almost four years Tom Cruise. But the actress, who is currently channeling her inner Jackie O. while filming The Kennedys miniseries, confesses she won’t be giving Suri a baby brother or sister anytime soon.
“Maybe in a couple of years, but right now I want to make sure I’m really there for Suri,” Katie says. “I’m the youngest in my family — my closest sister is 5 years older than me, and the next one is nine years ahead of me, so I was a bit of an only child, and I liked it! I liked having all of my mom’s attention, and sometimes I think I still do.”
But one thing The Romantics star knows for sure is that Tom is a great dad and partner.
“It’s really exciting [being Mrs. Cruise],” Katie says. “Tom’s as big at home as he is on the movie screen. He’s so passionate about everything, whatever he’s doing. When he’s being a dad, he’s right there; he’s giving it his all. It’s inspiring and it’s fun. It’s an amazing life, but we always remind ourselves of how incredibly lucky we are.”

You know, not everybody in Hollywood is vacuous. There is a pre- “white-man” tribal tradition of leaving 6 years between children. Perhaps Mrs. Kathy Holmes has passed this wisdom on to her daughter Katie.
Wouldn’t that make for a more peaceful homelife,anyway?
And while we are on the topic op having children, do we know yet how many people the earth can hold and all of us still have quality of life? Have we passed that number already?
