Did Lourdes Leon Get Extensions? Her Hair Looks So Long and Thick!

Madonna’s daughter was spotted on the streets with suspiciously fuller hair. Is it fake or real?

Fans of Madonna would recognize the star and her beautiful children almost anywhere, especially eldest daughter and budding fashionista Lourdes Leon. But we did a double-take when we saw this new pic of her — the Material Girl designer appears to be rocking a much fuller, longer hairstyle!

Now, I know that teenagers grow really quickly and that can also apply to their hair and nails, but does this extraordinary fullness and length seems a tad suspicious? Could the teen have extensions? I asked Devin Toth, celebrity stylist extraordinaire at New York’s famed Ted Gibson Salon for his expert opinion. Devin agreed with my assumption, saying, “Lourdes does appear to have extensions because of the difference in volume and texture from her own hair. The best type of hair extensions look as natural as a person’s real hair and shouldn’t appear too thick, thin or clumpy. They should mimic the texture and appearance as the person’s actual hair.”

Looking at the photo compared to older pictures, it’s hard to believe that this massive head of silky, flowing locks is really all Lourdes’ — and can we talk about the fact that she’s only 13? At what point is it really appropriate to add extensions to your hair? Devin and I weren’t able to determine how the extensions were added (whether they were clipped in or glued in place) but if you know of a teen that might want to try extensions for a special occasion, why not give Ted Gibson Beauty Full Head Extensions a try? They clip in, can be used to amp up volume and glamour, and then they’ll come right out without causing any harm to growing hair.

What a stupid article. Lourdes has always had thick hair. There are pictures of her throughout the years and more recently, almost on daily basis. It’s pretty obvious that is her natural hair and that other picture you used is lame! There were other pictures from that set where her hair looks the same as the picture above. Shady “reporting.”

geezloiuse what a moronic article…are you one of the same idiot’s who in the past commented about how hairy Lourdes was, tore apart her looks, eyebrows causing her to want to pluck her eyebrows and wears makeup at 13? You so called writers will write about anything…anything to fill your quota.

She is a beautiful child that has always had a gorgeous head of hair. What a shallow thing to wonder and write about. Who cares? I am so sick of unkindness towards children…jut because the are the kids of celebrities does not make this behaviour any less heinous!

I clicked because her picture was beautiful, before I read the headline. What a complete waste of the last 15 minutes of my life!

Lourdes is only 13, but she plucks her eyebrows and wears makeup. Why not throw some hair extensions in as well.

first of all,
that is SO not extensions, you shouldn’t jump to conclusions like that.
Secondly, “Vet” shouldn’t be so rude since he/she DOESN’T EVEN KNOW MADONNA OR HER DAUGHTER.
this is the stupidest thing i have ever heard.

Seems terribly vain for a 13 y o. Sends the WRONG message to Lourdes and teenage girls. So NOT necessary to get extensions at that age. Ridiculous, really….
