This still-unknown sibling has watched her sisters reach mega-fame and now she’s ready to have a piece of the pie!
Who knew Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen had a little sister? Okay, maybe some of us did, but for those who didn’t, we just found out that the Olsen twins’ younger sister, Elizabeth, is ready to take Hollywood by storm! The 21-year-old – who also happens to be the inspiration behind MK & Ash’s high-end clothing line Elizabeth & James, just got her first starring role in the indie flick Martha Marcy May Marlene, about a young woman who moves in with her sister after escaping a cult, reports Reuters. Claire Danes’ husband Hugh Dancy, Sarah Paulson and Brady Corbet will also appear in the film.
Although she’s not a mega-star like her sisters, Elizabeth has had successes of her own. From taking on smaller roles in her sisters moves to starting her own line of vegan friendly shoes, this Olsen hasn’t just been sitting on the sidelines. Now she’s ready to pick up where her sisters left off in Hollywood since Mary-Kate and Ashley have let their acting careers behind to flourish in the fashion world; in fact, she’s already co-starred with Gossip Girl hottie Chase Crawford and acting veteran Jane Fonda in Peace, Love and Understanding. Not a bad start for a celeb sibling who isn’t using her sister’s fame for an easy in in Tinseltown!
