Shortly after HollywoodLife.com posted one of Bar’s tweets in which she expressed how sad she was to see such thin models, her twitter account was taken down — and her agency is now trying to claim the account never belonged to her!
After trying to address the problem of too thin models on her Twitter account, 25-year-old model Bar Refaeli has had her account taken down and now her agency says it never even belonged to her! Bar tweeted on Aug. 30, “I get so sad when I see 15-year-old pale extremely skinny models at the agency looking all shaky and hungry…. when will it end?!?!?” Shortly after HollywoodLife.com ran a post on this tweet, the account dissappeared and her agency told the Huffington Post, “neither the Twitter account nor Blog belonged to Refaeli and that the statements were ‘made by imposters.'” That, however, does not make much sense!
Bar has used her twitter more than perhaps any other model, showing photo shoots, pictures of herself and friends, even her breakfast every morning for a brief while. In fact, her recent Italian vacation seemed to correspond quite nicely with the number of vacation comments and photos she frequently posted.
The sad truth it seems is that the modeling agency seems frightened one of their own has spoken up and are now trying to silence her. Bar’s account was never actually verified, but anyone who has every seen or read it knew that it was her.
What do you think about Bar’s cancelled account HollywoodLifers?
