The stylist and close pal to the star spills on how they perfected her look for the Emmys — and how they narrowly avoided a major mishap when Kelly’s pooch almost peed on her Emmys dress!

Kelly Osbourne looks absolutely stunning — and the 62nd Emmy Awards in LA on Aug. 29 was no exception! Aside from having a fabulous figure, her style, thanks to some help from her pal and celeb stylist Brooke Dulien, also seems to be better than ever! So, how did she manage to toally rock the red carpet at both the show and the afterparty? Brooke, who says the black and white color scheme of her two dresses was, “An absolute coincidence,” says the duo was going for something, “classic and chic.”

What type of look were you going for on Kelly for the Emmys?
“Classic and Chic! Kelly wasn’t nominated for an Emmy or presenting, so it was very important that she stayed neutral and wasn’t too flashy. I wanted her to wear the dress, not the dress to wear her but still be a head turning look! The Tony Ward dress did all of that.”

What about the after party?
“Sexy and modern! Fashion for the after party can be a bit more forgiving than walking the Emmy red carpet. I experimented with something a little less traditional by putting Kelly in a dress that appeared classic from the front, but when you looked, the sides of the dress were cut out and showed her porcelain skin and svelte figure. We also went bold with the white dress by accessorizing with electric blue shoes and jewelry to make it more modern.”

Were there any funny moments/occurrences/issues while she was getting ready?
Her dog Sid likes to pee on ballet tulle and I almost had an fashion emergency if we didn’t catch him right before the act.

How many dresses did Kelly try on before she decided on her two looks?
“The Tony Ward dress was it for me, so I had her try it on first. There was no question about it, that was “THE DRESS”. The after dress was also a home run and love at first sight.”

How involved was Kelly in picking the two dresses?
“She has the final decision in every fashion choice we make.”

What designers was she wearing?
“Tony Ward for the Emmy Awards red carpet and a UK brand called Body Amr for the afterparty.”

Has Kelly’s style changed now that she has a new figure?
“Her style hasn’t changed because of her figure, it has evolved because she’s a young woman who embraces fashion and isn’t scared to try something new.”

How would you describe Kelly’s personal style?
“Trend setting and more editorial than your average “it” girl.”

What three staple items are a part of Kelly’s closet?
“She’s obsessed with her leather jacket by the new brand le petit petit, her electric blue heels by YSL and her H&M black maxi skirt.”

Ooooh, Kelly, my girl. You lookin’ good these days!
It’s nice to see how well you clean up!

That first dress has beautiful textures in it’s deep black fabric, and the second makes you look like Marilyn Monroe meets a goddess (even though Marilyn already is one)!

Kelly- my favorite thing about you is that I can totally see your father’s resemblence in your face. That’s a compliment.
