Kelly Osbourne has worked really hard to go from crazy chubby teen to sleek and stylish adult. We love her new look and think she looked absolutely stunning at the Emmy’s. But we want her to know that she looks so great just the way she is now, that we hope she doesn’t keep losing weight!
Kelly has dropped more than 55 pounds in the past couple of years. She’s gone from a size 14 to a size six and she showed off two of those size sixes last night in two different dresses. In total Kelly has gone from 160 pounds. to around 105 pounds and we think that is where she should stay!
At the Emmys, Kelly first rocked a black Tony Ward Couture gown which seriously flaunted her newly toned frame. Later Kelly changed into a slinky white goddess gown which showed off her new teeny tiny waist.
So far Kelly’s weight loss has been really healthy. She avoids carbs and sugar and tries to eat just a little something before going to bed to keep her metabolism going.
“A trick I’ve learned is to eat just a little bit of something that has no carbs and no sugar in it before you go to sleep because it keeps your metabolism going. They say you should never eat before you go to bed, but I’ve found just having a tiny little snack – like half an apple or something like that – before you go to sleep really helps,” she’s said in the past.
She dropped the initial pounds with the Bar Method, which involves a mixture of interval training, free weights, and ballet postures.
But now she needs to try to maintain, not continue to lose.
“Right now she does not look drawn as though she has over dieted. It makes me think she has done it the right way,” says nutrition expert Dr. Majid Ali. ”It is just a matter if she can maintain that lifestyle now and doesn’t yoyo.”
