The Emmy Awards opening number brought together the reality mom, former ‘Golden Girl,’ and a slew of others dancing and singing to Bruce Springsteen!
Jimmy Fallon kicked off his hosting duties at the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards in one of the most relevant and hysterical ways possible — by starting a glee club. Under the guise of helping the cast of Glee make enough money to attend the awards, Jimmy helped recruit stars including a rhythmless Kate Gosselin, oversexed Betty White, and hilarious as usual Tina Fey to win the top prize at the local glee competition.
That wasn’t all either, as Mad Men‘s Jon Hamm, Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev, Community‘s Joel McHale, and Lost‘s Jorge Garcia also joined Glee‘s Chris Colfer, Amber Riley, Cory Monteith, Lea Michele, and, yes, even Jane Lynch, as the group sang and danced to Bruce Springsteen‘s classic hit, “Born to Run.”
Check it all out, along with a cameo from Randy Jackson, in the video above.
