The last few details of the Aug. 29 Emmy Awards are finally coming together, and it looks like host Jimmy Fallon has plenty of surprises in store for everyone! Our sister site Deadline Hollywood is reporting that Kim Kardashian, Amy Poehler, and Stephen Colbert will be surprise presenters at the ceremony, and that Tina Fey and Jon Hamm will be doing an opening dance number to Bruce Springsteen‘s “Born to Run!”
Deadline says of the opening number, “host Jimmy Fallon [comes] out alone with an electric guitar singing/playing “Born to Run.” Then he is joined by Randy Jackson from American Idol on bass. Then by a dance troupe consisting of Mad Men‘s Jon Hamm, 30 Rock‘s Tina Fey, Community/Talk Soup‘s Joel McHale, and Glee‘s Chris Colfer and Jane Lynch.” There was also a buxom blonde in the mix who the source was unable to identify.
