MORE INSULT TO INJURY for Tiki Barber's Wife Ginny: 23-Year-Old GF Blogs, 'We Love Each Other More Than Before!'

082610_barber_johnson2_544_XXXX_103162327How would YOU feel if the much younger woman (Traci Lynn Johnson) who stole away your husband of 11 years (when you were eight months pregnant, no less) blabbed about every intimate detail of their love affair?

Traci Lynn Johnson, the 23-year-old ex-NBC intern who lured Today show golden boy/ex-footballer Tiki Barber from his wife Ginny, two sons, and eleven-year marriage, is trying to “reveal the truth” about her affair with Tiki in a syrupy “memoir” on Does it tell the truth or is it a shameless bit of self-promotion?

In her post, Johnson derides the “ignominious and outrageous” stories that have been written about her affair with Tiki, which broke in April 2010 in the New York Post. She claims that, contrary to reports, Tiki “didn’t leave Ginny when she was eight months pregnant,” and that the Barbers’ marriage “had deteriorated before my relationship with him was even a thought in his mind.” Fair enough: she’s trying to set the record straight.

More insidiously stabbing to Ginny, however, is Traci’s description of her life with Tiki — she even refers to their relationship, over-cutely, as “Tiki and Traci” — including everything they do on their nights out. “We stay up too late … reading books in bed … playing in a co-ed softball league … cozy wine bar with friends … enjoying an episode of Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman,” she coos.

There’s much more to chew over in Johnson’s column (go read it at Crushable) but it does seem egregious and unnecessarily nose-rubbing to wrap what was ultimately a sordid affair in the fuzzy Slanket of domestic bliss.

What do you think? Is her column clarifying or classless?

this is the story of every cheating man- they tell the mistress that their marriage is horrible and “deteriorated”, then they f around for awhile, and if they like it better, the new thing, THEN they tell their wife. this girl is pathetic. it’s clear that she’s desperately looking for validation or a way to clean the adultress scum from their relationship. sorry traci. it is what it is, and no amount of wholesome dr. quinn is going to change that. good news is, it seems to be a swimmingly successful way to start a relationship if you look at angie and brad. so, you guys might have a nice life- though eventually you will wonder if he’s remaining faithful to you, too. sorry. that’s how it goes. it’s a story that has been written many many times, and despite your efforts to convince yourself otherwise, you’re just another girl who stole a guy from another woman. mostly his fault- but a lot of yours, too.
