Despite reports of unprofessionalism on previous movie sets, Lindsay’s co-stars say she was nothing short of ‘great’ while working on Machete!
Lindsay Lohan, 24, may have been a no-show Aug. 25 at the LA premiere of the new movie Machete, in which she plays a gun-toting nun, but Lindsay was definitely there in spirit — her co-stars couldn’t stop singing her praises! “She was awesome,” Machete director Robert Rodriguez told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “She’s so great in the movie. She has a great character and a great twist. … It will really surprise people.”
And although he was bummed Lindsay didn’t attend the premiere, Robert told us he wouldn’t be sending Lindsay a screener of the movie to watch at home.
“I want her to see it with an audience,” he told us. “The people are really going to like it.”
“I’m very very happy and excited for the next stage in her life,” she assured us. “It’s gonna be amazing.”
And how could we go to the Machete premiere without talking to Machete himself, Danny Trejo! The movie’s star told us she was a “a pro” and that her only real fault in life is getting caught breaking the law:
“She’s got a personal life, and we all have one — the only problem is her personal life is with a camera on her all the time,” he pointed out. “A lot of people do what she does, they just don’t get caught. But she’s going to be OK. She knows what to do, she’s been there. We’ve talked and she’ll be OK! I love you, Lindsay!”
Aww, who would have guessed that machete-wielding Danny was such a big softy? Either way, it’s great to finally hear some good news about Lindsay!
