The Real Housewives of New York City star may love being mom to 3 1/2 month old Bryn, so why doesn’t she want to have any more children?
Bethenny Frankel and new hubby Jason Hoppy don’t fight about much, but they DO continuously have one repeated argument: whether or not to have more children. Jason is all for a big family, but Bethenny is content with her infant daughter, Bryn!
“Jason wants to have another baby, and I don’t. So that’s another problem,” the 39-year-old Real Housewives of New York City star tells Parade magazine without further elaboration.
This is shocking to us, given how much Bethenny seems to adore her 3 1/2 month old little girl. “Bryn likes pink — it’s her new favorite color. She is really growing up, and it is making me upset,” she tells the magazine, adding that one of her favorite things in the world to do is sing to her daughter. “We sing for an hour every day. I sing to her, and Bryn sings back. We sing Rihanna, Pink, gangsta rap,” she confides, adding that another experience they share is mommy/baby baths. “Also, I’m a bath person — a big bath person. I take baths with Bryn – but first I take my own bath so the water is really clean.”
We’re intrigued — why doesn’t Bethenny want any more kids, especially if her daughter is so adorable? Could it have anything to do with…breastfeeding, perhaps? She did criticize Gisele Bundchen for her comment that a breastfeeding law should be enforced, after all. “I’m 10% breastfeeding now. And I feel guilty about that and like a failure,” she says, adding, ” I’m using powdered Similac, so I can control the water. I did buy nipple cream, but never used it. I never really had chafey, chapped nipples.”

I sincerely hope Bethenny considers having baby #2. Her husband request was for 2 kids that’s all not a big family. 2 kids is reasonable. Bethenny really needs to be fair and enjoy the fact that she may be able to have 2. She is not a spring-chicken but she has a great husband, partner and father for her child. Any woman would be so happy to give this wonderful man 2 kids if possible. I hate it when I hear how some celebrities try to make it sound like it is so hard…my God she has the means and the help and she just stated that she loved her husband so much that she would give him what he wanted. Kids are too important to deny. I know she will be so happy if she tries not only for herself, husband but for her daughter as well. She can continue with her career and have the party life that she seems to enjoy so much.
