Tiger confessed that he wished he and Elin Nordegren were still together and devastated by the pain his actions have caused. Do you believe that he’s a changed man?
Tiger Woods FINALLY seems to regret ripping apart his marriage and family by cheating on his now ex-wife Elin Nordegren with more than 15 mistresses. The remorseful golf pro opened up to reporters after playing the first round of the Barclays tournament in New Jersey Aug. 25 and seemed more emotional and honest than he has all year.
“I don’t think [relief is] the word. I think it’s just more sadness,” Tiger, 32, admitted when asked about his divorce from the 30-year-old Swedish model; the paperwork was finalized on August 23. “I don’t think you ever go into a marriage looking to get divorced. That’s the thing. That’s why it is sad.”
Not only did Tiger’s family life fall apart, but his golf game has suffered majorly since the sex scandal broke last November. However, Tiger isn’t trying to pull the sympathy card – which we respect – and he seems to accept the situation is all his fault.
“My actions certainly led us to this decision. And I’ve certainly made a lot of errors in my life and that’s something I’m going to have to live with,” the 34-year-old golfer said, adding, “It was a lot more difficult than I was letting on.”
Even though we will forever be Team Elin in this debate, it’s nice to see Tiger showing some true remorse for the damage he caused!

I have no sympathy for Tiger Woods! He has his opportunity and misused it in a very big way! Now he has to face the consequences of his actions! Tiger Woods deserves the same compassion, respect, loyalty and consideration that he gave his wife and children, which is, NONE!!!! He keeps feeling sorry for himself during press conferences and on the golf course trying to get sympathy from the public, but it is too little too late!!!
