If Bethenny Leaves 'Real Housewives,' The Other Women Will Need To Step Up The Drama To Fill Her Shoes!

Don’t be too bummed that Bethenny might be leaving! Here’s how we think the drama will continue!

We’ve got a serious issue on our hands, HollywoodLifers — all of the drama on The Real Housewives of New York City might be over for good! With the news that Bethenny Frankel has not been asked back for season four, even though the feud between her and ex-BFF Jill Zarin totally fueled all of season three. If Bethenny disappears for good, will the excitement leave along with her?

We don’t think so!

With Bethenny gone, I predict Jill will go back to the way she was on the first two seasons as everybody’s “favorite Jewish mother.” She learned an important lesson from her battle with Bethenny: Stay out of the drama!

Bravo is going to have to find a new source of entertainment to replace Bethenny, and here’s where new housewife Sonja Morgan will come into play. We think Bravo should give her more time in the spotlight, especially considering she’s single and ready to mingle! We’d love to see more of her dating life, which we know always creates a problem with the girls. If you remember from season three, Sonja has already gotten it on with one of Kelly Bensimon‘s past beaus, Max.

And speaking of Kelly, she’s one gal who for sure would help fill the potential dramatic void. With Bethenny gone, you might think that Kelly would get more comfortable in front of the cameras and with the other girls, but we bet she’ll continue on her CRAZY path — while eating her jelly beans and talking about morals while posing for Playboy. Bravo might even luck out with another “Kelly breakdown episode!” It’d be unfortunate for Kelly, but great for the ratings!

But even if Bethenny takes off, the divisions and “teams” will live on! It’s clear that Alex McCord can’t stand Jill after Jill poked fun at her parenting skills, and Ramona Singer will likely side with Alex as she was “Team Bethenny” at the end of season three. (Alex and Ramona were the only housewives invited and who attended Bethenny’s wedding to Jason Hoppy.)

This leaves Countess LuAnn de Lesseps to side with Jill. Unfortunately, we don’t think she’ll play a major role in season four, as she’s found a new passion for singing. We all know that “money can’t buy you class,” but maybe it will buy LuAnn a record deal if she’s lucky.

BFFs — we want to know what YOU think will happen on the fourth season of The Real Housewives of New York City in Bethenny’s possible absence!
