You tell us: Which of these drama queens deserve to take home the gold this Sunday?
We’ve already picked our favorite dramatic men, so now it’s time to give the ladies a turn — and there certainly are some powerhouses in the running at this year’s Emmys. When it comes to leading ladies, our staff thinks no one does it better than The Good Wife‘s Julianna Marguiles and Friday Night Lights‘ Connie Britton, both of whom are up for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
As for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, two lovely ladies made giant blips on our staff’s radar: Mad Men‘s Christina Hendricks and The Good Wife‘s Christine Baranski. Not only is Christina Hendricks one of the most gorgeous women on TV today, but she plays the adulterous Joan Holloway to perfection. As for Miz Baranski, that woman can do absolutely no wrong in my eyes. All class, all the time. With eight nominations and only one win (for her role on Cybill in 1995) I think she’s LONG overdue for a second Emmy.
Of course, these are just OUR picks. Vote for YOUR Emmy favorites in the polls below!
