It’s time to take advantage of the last few weekends of summer. No better way than to whip out some bold, bright colors before the muted browns of fall set in. Leighton Meester did just that at the Teen Choice Awards on Aug. 8. The Gossip Girl star sported some seriously awesome electric blue liner to the event. Her celebrity makeup artist, Molly Stern tells you how to get Leighton’s summer look!
- “For her eyes, we wanted a celestial glow with a smidge of an edge,” Molly says. “So I first based her eye with NARS cream shadow in Corfu on the lid.”
- “Next, I lined the top of the lid at the lash line and under the eye with COVERGIRL LiquiLineBlast Eyeliner in Blue Boom. For her lashes, two coats of brown mascara was the perfect finish,” Molly says.
- “On the lips I wanted a long lasting nude so I chose COVERGIRL Oulast Lipstain in Nude Kiss on the lip with COVERGIRL ShineBlast Lipgloss in Dazzle over top,” Molly says.
