Dina stops by ‘The Today Show’ in her ongoing effort to make excuses for her daughter and talk about her alleged special treatment in jail!

Dina Lohan made an appearance on The Today Show this morning and in her most ridiculous statement yet compared her daughter Lindsay Lohan to America’s sweetheart, Julia Roberts! Dina told Matt Lauer, “Lindsay, her life is magnified. I really think she’s under a microscope. In the old days, Julia Roberts and those girls didn’t have someone following them and their relationships — cheating on this one and that one.” That is because Julia was a hardworking talented actress who didn’t have multiple DUIs and spend every night at a club!

Dina went on to complain about her daughter’s jail time, saying the judge was wrong housing her with “alleged murderers” — even though everyone now knows she got special treatment! She also claimed that everything being put out by the media is “propaganda” and “not facts.”

Do not worry about Dina learning a lesson from this process however, she clearly has not. When asked if she now has any hesitation about putting her children in show business she said, “I wouldn’t stop them. In fact, I’m producing a film my son Michael will star in.”
