Just when we thought we’d heard it all — Levi Johnston has decided to shoot a reality show about his race to become mayor of Wasilla, Alaska! What a nut!
We wonder how Sarah Palin feels about this! Levi Johnston, Bristol Palin‘s fame-hungry baby daddy, has announced he’s running for mayor of their home town, Wasilla, Alaska — and he’s not joking.
The 20-year-old self-described “half red-necked, half Hollywood” stud is filming a new reality show called Loving Levi: The Road to the Major’s Office that will chronicle his fatherhood to baby Tripp and his road to political office, reports Variety.
There’s only one hitch in Levi’s grand plan: the Wasilla seat for mayor isn’t open until 2012 — so first he’s going to run for city council with the help of his manager-turned-campaign manager, Tank.
And he’s not going to stop there. According to Variety, Levi is prepared to take his campaign to the next level and follow in the steps of his ex-fiancee’s mother to become Alaska’s governor.
We’re starting to think this guy is worse than reality king, Spencer Pratt.
The production company behind the show, Stone and Co., describes the show, saying, “[Levi] will give us a real inside look into who he is as a father, a skilled hunter, an avid dirt biker and his journey down the road of small-town politics … right after he gets his high school diploma.”
Levi is fully aware he’s not America’s favorite person right now, but he’s hoping to change perceptions by “[sending] a message to America about who I really am and what I want to do with my life.”
