Two of Casey Affleck’s former employees from his upcoming documentary about Joaquin Phoenix claim the actor made inappropriate sexual advances toward them and are suing him for sexual harassment
Casey Affleck is in deep grease. Only one week after his former employee, Amanda White, filed a lawsuit for sexual harassment against the actor, ANOTHER woman from the same documentary project has filed a $2.25 million lawsuit against him for the same reasons!
Magdalena Gorka, a former cinematographer on Casey’s documentary about his brother-in-law Joaquin Phoenix, claims Casey crawled into bed with her one night when they were on location last Dec.
“During the middle of the night, [Gorka] awoke to find Affleck lying in the bed next to her,” the lawsuit alleges. “Unbeknownst to [Gorka], Affleck had entered the bedroom while she was asleep and crawled into the bed. When she woke up, Affleck was curled up next to her in the bed wearing only his underwear and a t-shirt. He had his arm around her, was caressing her back, his face was within inches of hers and his breath reeked of alcohol.”
Gorka says she was completely confused by the situation and quickly told her boss to get out of her bed. “Affleck responded by asking ‘Why?,'” according to the lawsuit. “[Gorka] said ‘because you are married and because you are my boss.’ Affleck, undeterred, asked if [Gorka] ‘was sure.’ [Gorka] said she was sure and insisted that he leave the room. He left and slammed the door in anger.”
Both Gorka and White reportedly left the project shortly after the incidences occurred. Said Gorka’s lawyer, “She ultimately decided that the truth needs to come out. We look forward to our day in court.”
