The Heroes star admits that after years of being on a strict diet because of her film and TV roles, now that she’s expecting, she can “eat everything.”

Ali Larter may be pregnant with her first child (with hubby Hayes MacArthur, 33) but the 34-year-old actress is an old hand at keeping in shape. She’s been doing a lot of yoga during her pregnancy, now in its fifth month, which is great for both her and her baby.

“Yoga is really good for expectant mothers, especially if you’ve already been doing it before you got pregnant,” says LA yoga instructor Bridget Phetasy. “You can do it well into the third trimester, with certain modifications and limitations the further into the pregnancy you get. It’s really good for the back pain that goes with being pregnant.”

According to Phetasy, “it’s great for your breathing, keeps you relaxed during labor and keeps you toned while you’re pregnant, which is a hard thing to do.”

Staying in shape might be a battle for Ali right now, who recently admitted to enjoying the freedom to eat whatever she wants while she’s pregnant. “I bake myself strawberry shortcakes and then I wake up at three in the morning and I eat them. I love it because so much of the time, I have to be careful, but now it’s just freedom. It’s like, bring on the Sprinkles cupcakes, pizza, pasta. I’m loving it!”

We don’t blame you, Ali! We’re a little jealous, ourselves!
