Rob was so distraught after his run-in with the paparazzi on Saturday that he crashed his car!
Please don’t drive when you’re stressed out and exhausted, Robert Pattinson. You were so upset following your mini-meltdown over the weekend that you got into a car accident – and we want to keep you safe from harm!
Rob, 24, reportedly hit a parked Kia near after partying at a pal’s beach house in Malibu, Calif. July 24 after freaking out on photographers and telling them he needed to be left alone. However, the car’s owner, Rob Gottschlich, didn’t seem all that bothered by the scrape, telling OK! magazine, “If I had a nice car like a Lexus or something, maybe [I would be concerned], but I’ve got an old Kia!”
He added, “I am going to ask Rob next time I see him for free tickets to the next Twilight film [though]!”
While the local police say that never received any complaints, Rob’s rep explained the situation away by saying, “Robert was pulling out of a parking space after a quiet day in Malibu yesterday and was relentlessly pursued by paparazzi. He has no knowledge of having bumped or damaged another car in the process.”
Poor Rob really does have the worst luck. In addition to this most recent fender bender, he’s actually lost his car in L.A., set his dashboard on fire AND been hit by a taxi! Now THAT is what we call bad car-ma!
