US Actress Angelina Jolie poses for a photocall on the roof of Ritz hotel in Moscow, Russia, Sunday, July 25, 2010, with the Red Square on background.
She knows how to make an entrance: Just blocks away from Red Square and the Kremlin, Angelina Jolie gave new meaning to the ‘red’ carpet in a Versace gown.
Angelina won over the crowd at the Moscow premiere of Salt by greeting the crowd in Russian — the words “Good evening” drove the masses wild — and she spoke about how the film (about a suspected Russian double agent) might actually burnish Russia’s reputation. “I think this film is positive for modern Russia,” she told Reuters. “As much as there are bad guys that are Russian, there are also heroes that are Russian in this film.”
The news in the US for the film was less good — for the second week in a row, Leonardo Di Caprio topped the box office raking in another $43.5 million for Inception.
