Spending time in jail doesn’t always straighten people out. Paris spent 23 days behind bars, but eventually reverted back to being a party girl. So do you have any hope that Lindsay, now in a similar situation, will be able to change?
Lindsay Lohan was originally sentenced to 90 days in jail for violating her probation from a 2007 DUI but, as we’ve recently reported, she could be spending less than 12 days in the slammer. Is 12 days really going to teach Lilo a lesson?
Let Paris Hilton be an example. She spent a total of 23 days locked up; that minimal amount of time in jail is not enough to turn around an out-of-control celeb. The socialite claimed in 2007 that her time in jail, for driving on a suspended license, had changed her party girl ways. Paris said she was “so excited to start this new life.”
“I think that there were a lot of bad people that I was around. I don’t want to surround myself with those types of people anymore,” Paris told Ryan Seacrest from jail in a 2007 interview.
Is this the same woman we’ve recently seen posing topless for the paparazzi’s and getting busted for smoking weed?
It looks like jail didn’t do much to change Paris’ partying ways, at least not long-term — which makes us wonder whether or not Lilo will really be able to surprise us with when she’s done serving her time.
What do you think, BFFs? Is less than 12 days in jail enough to clean up Lindsay’s act, or will she follows in the footsteps of former BFF Paris?

Idiots!
The jail is not a school with lessons to learn!!
It is a place to punish people and keep them away
To learn a lesson there could be many times impossible for those with very messy life.
