The former Saturday Night Live star and Tina Fey BFF is pregnant with her first child. But despite her comedic roots, she’s says she’s not going to give her baby a funny name.
She’s best known for playing the hilarious Debbie Downer during her seven season run on Saturday Night Live, but there’s nothing downbeat about Rachel Dratch‘s life these days. The 44-year-old funny lady is due to have her first child in September, and unlike some celebs (we’re talking to you, Gwyneth Paltrow), she’s not planning on saddling her newborn with one of those funky, modern names. In other words, Baby Dratch won’t be named after, say, a fruit or a fish.
“I haven’t settled [on a name],” the expectant mom told People Moms & Babies with a laugh. “I have a funny one in mind, but I don’t have the guts to do it. I’ll probably go with something a bit more normal.”
Not even remotely normal, though, are Rachel’s food cravings. No pickles, no junk food, just … watermelon? “I’ve just been having watermelon cravings, nothing unhealthy, weird … bizarro.”
