Celebrity moms Sharon Osbourne, Julie Chen, Leah Remini and Sara Gilbert primed to take on Barbara Walters’ and company.
With the long-running soap opera As the World Turns going off the air in September, CBS has found a good replacement, thanks to Roseanne star Sara Gilbert and her celebrity mom friends. Sara has developed a yet-to-be-named talk show show and will be one of the hosts, along with Sharon Osbourne, Julie Chen, Leah Remini, Marissa Jaret Winokur and Holly Robinson Peete, who will chat about “topical events and contemporary issues through the eyes of parents.”
Sounds a lot like The View, doesn’t it?
The show, which will be based in Los Angeles and has a tentative October launch date, will include interviews with entertainers and newsmakers, personal home footage shot by the co-hosts, and “unfiltered opinions and a lot of personality.”
We’re looking forward to seeing former Celebrity Apprentice contestants Sharon and Holly sparring again!
