Fox producers have reportedly met with the “Wicked Game” sing TWICE about filling Simon’s shoes to become the fourth American Idol judge this season!
Simon Cowell’s seat on American Idol is the most coveted hot spot around this summer – but who’s going to fill it? Although names like Bret Michaels and Harry Connick Jr. have been thrown around, The Hollywood Reporter is now confirming that sexy crooner Chris Isaak may be close to making a deal with Fox.
Chris, best known for the sultry ‘90s hit “Wicked Game”, met with Fox producers twice in recent weeks. He would join Ellen DeGeneres, Kara DioGuardi and Randy Jackson to decide the fate of Idol hopefuls.
Harry Connick Jr. is another contender for the coveted spot, while Poison’s Bret Michaels – a former frontrunner for the position – is now allegedly out of the running, says THR. One thing is for sure — FOX needs to find someone quickly…auditions for season ten have already started!

Chris Isaak = boring. He’s a one hit wonder from the early 90s. If we are going there – why not get George Michael? He’s had more hits and has done more whacked things.
