Lindsay Lohan wore her own 6126 jacket to jail yesterday. Any chance to make a quick buck, eh?

Jeans. Check. Sunglasses. Check. Leather jacket. Check. Lindsay Lohan’s pre-jail ensemble July 20 was both chic and understated – and also a completely strategic PR stunt!

The 24-year-old hard-partying starlet, whose jail time was just reduced from three months to a mere 12 days today, cleverly wore a jacket from her own line, 6126, before putting on her hideous orange jail jumpsuit at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif. Smart move for once, Lindsay!

Unfortunately, this isn’t exactly an original idea. Another Hollywood jailbird, Paris Hilton, already pulled the same stunt when she finished her slammer time in 2007 by wearing jeans from her own line, which were sold at LA’s trendy Kitson boutique.

Personally, we think Paris, now 29, made the more calculated move by wearing her pieces out of prison when she was “reformed” (you know, before that recent pot bust and all). Wearing your own collection TO jail just indicates you – and your clothes – are still a hot mess, Lindsay!
