Naomi Watts debuted a brand new blunt bob at the Salt premiere in LA, her stylist tells you how to copy her look!

In my mind, Naomi Watts’ gorgeous new cut totally stole the show from Angelina Jolie at the Salt premiere in Los Angeles on July 19. Her blunt, collarbone-grazing bob is so incredibly chic and super flattering. “It was quite a change for Naomi,” says celebrity hair stylist Robert Vetica who chopped and styled Naomi’s hair for the night. “I wanted Naomi to look fresh and young and really different.”

“I cut two inches off, kept her hair blunt and collarbone length, and created bangs that swooped to the side. The length is a bit longer in front and slightly higher in back,” Robert explains.

“The look had to accent her gorgeous blonde color, have lots of shine and movement and look really healthy and strong,” he says. To achieve this, Robert prepped Naomi’s hair with Moroccanoil Light Treatment. “Fine blonde hair tangles so easily but can’t take too much conditioner,” he says. “Argan oil-infused Moroccanoil absorbs right into delicate, lightened hair, makes it easier to comb, gives it a smoother texture and eliminates flyaways. It also makes blow drying faster, all without weighing hair down. The strands look light and airy, as if I didn’t use any product.”

After blowing her hair straight, Robert spritzed her tresses with Morccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray for added luminosity in front of the cameras. To keep flyaway’s at bay, he used Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray. “I did a couple of quick mists from about 6 inches, then put a comb through the hair right away to loosen the look while keeping its hold,” Robert says.”
