Although Lindsay’s lawyer can see her almost any time during her stint in jail, Lilo isn’t allowed to see her family or friends until Saturday morning and even then her time will be restricted!
Lindsay Lohan has a pretty horrific week ahead of her. The hard-partying starlet checked into Lynwood’s Century Regional Detention Facility this morning and will sit alone in her cell without any visits from her mom, Dina, or ex-girlfriend, Sam Ronson, until Saturday. Bummer!
According to the center’s information call line, visiting hours at Lindsay’s temporary home are Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. She can have up to three visitors per visit.
“CRDF has a visiting area where visitors are talking through a glass window through a telephone to the inmates,” Los Angeles-based criminal attorney Steve Cron tells HollywoodLife.com. “It’s not intimate or warm and cuddly — but it’s easier for the Sheriff’s department not to have to put everyone through the same security process.”
On the popular location review Website, Yelp, one person shared his horrific experience as a visitor at the facility, describing a line forming “at 4 a.m.” and “a wait [that’s] four hours” long.
Apparently, the visits don’t improve once inside the jail. “The floor, the ceiling, the walls, [are] all polished concrete. It’s gray inside and gray outside,” the reviewer writes. “The long room starts to fill with inmates, in small cubicles resembling telephone booths. We are on the other side, separated by glass and cinder blocks.”
Despite the posted hours, the Sheriff’s Department reserves the right to change or revoke visiting hours at any time — which means Lindsay and Dina’s reunions could be cut even shorter. We almost feel sorry for poor Lilo!
As for conjugal visits — ha! — Lindsay’s not going to get any action from ex-girlfriend Sam while she serves her time. “Conjugal visits? Absolutely not going to happen,” Cron tells us. “It’s not a dating service. It’s a jail. It’s only like that in state prison when you are married.”
Fortunately for Lindsay, the LA county jails are so over-crowded, she’ll most likely only serve 25 days or less of her 90 day sentence. Nevertheless, as Cron so aptly puts it, Lindsay’s time in the slammer “is not going to be a walk in the park.”
