It was the worst moment of my life when Chuck Bass was shot and left to die on Gossip Girl. So you can imagine how happy I was to see him walking around NYC — alive! I even touched him!
My heart has been breaking since the Gossip Girl season finale, wondering “Is Chuck really dead?” Ed Westwick was seen filming in Paris recently, but rumors swirled that he was just playing Chuck’s ghost. Now I can confirm to you that Chuck Bass is NOT dead. He’s alive and well!
Over the weekend I spotted Chuck Bass and Leighton Meester‘s character, Blair Waldorf, having a little get-together in Carlos Mieles on West 14th Street in NYC. After the reunion, Chuck walked outside, turned the corner and met up with Rufus (Matthew Settle) and Lily Humphrey (Kelly Rutherford.) A full-on three-way conversation was happening, so I don’t think they were speaking to Chuck’s ghost.
I was even able to briefly caress Chuck’s back to confirm that he is, in fact, alive. What a huge relief!
So there you have it, ladies. Put away your chocolates and tissues for now, because we will definitely be seeing Chuck Bass on Gossip Girl next season.

Cool that you saw Chuck is alive. He is the best character on gg. But are you sure ED was filming with Leighton? In the picture you posted Ed is with a french actress. Did you see he filming with Leighton or with the actress in the picture?
