Kelly Bensimon looked better than ever when she turned up in an alice + olivia get-up at the alice + olivia M.A.C. launch party at Beauty Bar in NYC on Jul. 14 — I was dying to know what her secret is! Lately we’ve spotted the reality star jogging all over NYC, but there’s something behind her vigorous workout routine — she’s actually training five days a week for a 13 mile marathon. Kelly says when it comes to her diet, she usually follows a six day plan. “I eat healthy and then on the seventh day I eat whatever I want,” she said.

“My largest meal is lunch and then I’ll have a lighter dinner, I eat a lot of carbs at lunch,” she said. Kelly, who normally eats rice with vegetables and tofu chicken or shrimp, admits her fast metabolism definitely contributes to her trim figure and her ability to chow down!

if she thinks what she does is chow down, i have no words. she has an orange for breakfast, a moderate amt of rice/veggies/tofu for lunch, and a small piece of protein and salad for dinner… 6 days per week! i do wish i had that discipline, but that is NOT chowing down!!! i wouldn’t have the energy to workout if that’s all i ate. no wonder she can’t think straight.
