EXCLUSIVE! Lindsay Lohan’s Life Is Too Sticky A Situation For 'SNL' To Touch!

SNL star Seth Meyers tells HollywoodLife.com that his show wouldn’t have mocked Lindsay because her life is just too depressing!

Yikes, Lindsay Lohan! You know your life MUST be bad when not even Saturday Night Live will touch you!

Although the show is on its summer hiatus, star Seth Meyers says that Lindsay’s sad situation – she’s going to jail for 90 days on July 20 followed by 90 days in rehab – would not have been mocked. “As far as Lindsay Lohan goes, I think we would have left it alone,” the 36-year-old funnyman told HollywoodLife.com after hosting the ESPY Awards in LA July 14.

He added, “I don’t think there is any joy in that story right now.”

No kidding!

Lindsey’s life is so tough right now that  she’s checked into a sober living home in an attempt to prove she really needs to be in rehab. She has also hired Robert Shapiro, infamous O.J. attorney, as her lawyer.

The 24-year-old hard-partying starlet definitely needs some kind of help – and that’s no joke.

Lindsay has been given chance after chance after chance for the past 3 years. If any average non-celebrity person among us had done what she did, we would’ve been in jail 3 years ago, not given 3 years’ worth of chances to blow off. As for the rehab issues, yes, Lindsay does need help, but treating her with kid gloves is the wrong approach. Someone in my family was a crack addict. Out of every 10 crack addicts, 9 will die and only 1 will survive. My loved one is the 1 who made it. I can tell anyone from my own experience that if Lindsay’s family and friends truly care about her, the worst thing in the world they can do for her now is be kind to her. Getting someone help doesn’t just mean cushioning their fall when things get tough – it means letting them fall full-force, flat on their face. Helping them doesn’t mean letting them go to jail, it means sending them there if you have to because it’s not just their sobriety, it’s that person’s life. Lindsay hasn’t had family or friends around her – she’s had enablers.

you guys should sweep around your own door step and let Lindsey try and heal by herself I’m sure she realizes she’s got issues but don’t we all. If you can’t speak into her life for the love of GOD leave her be. She’s hurting and we have all been there if we are honest with ourselves. Lindsey if you read this hang on girl and just try Jesus what have you got to loose, just try calling on that name I promise you want be abandoned again never! I don’t know you but I feel your pain & I’ve been where you are. Desperate! I can tell you JESUS is the only answer and he loves you right where you are just the way you are ! Just try call that name!
