The Bachelorette‘s latest reject Kirk DeWindt says Frank was one of his best friends on the show and that Frank even told him about his ex-girlfriend before breaking Ali’s heart!
Next week on ABC’s The Bachelorette, one of the final three guys, Frank Neuschaefer, breaks Ali Fedotowsky‘s heart during their romantic trip to Tahiti when he decides to leave her for his ex-girlfriend, Nicole. HollywoodLife.com chatted with this week’s reject, Kirk DeWindt, and he admitted Frank talked about his ex when the cameras weren’t rolling.
“Frank had mentioned an ex, but I didn’t know what he was thinking,” the 27-year-old Wisconsin native told us. “I was aware of Nicole, [Frank's ex], but I didn’t know the extent of his feelings.”
In fact, Kirk considered Frank one of his best friends in the house and actually thought the 31-year-old retail manager was the best fit out of all the other guys for Ali.
“In the back of my mind, I always thought it was Frank. I think he was quite confident with his relationship with Ali from the beginning. He talked about how much he liked her right away,” Kirk admitted, explaining, “He’s the most quirky and off-the-beaten path and it seems like that’s what she’s looking for. She doesn’t want the safe bet.”
Even though he and Frank remain close friends, Kirk is disappointed Frank didn’t back out of the competition for Ali’s heart sooner so he could have made it to the final three.
“I realize [now] that he must have come on the show with feelings for someone else, where as I came on with no other feelings,” Kirk said. “It would have been nice to have the opportunity to go to Tahiti and [see where my and Ali's relationship could go].”
Now that Kirk AND Frank are out of the picture, who do you think will steal Ali’s heart? Sound off below!

Im disappointed in Frank for taking it this far to win back his ex! He should of never signed up for the show without closure in the first place…
His honesty with Nicole will always be questionable! If they are even still together!
As for Ali, i’m afraid her heart was with Frank and is now crushed and broken. Franks selfishness not only messed it up for Ali, but for a chance at true love for both Chris and Roberto, whom are both genuine guys and deserving of her love.
