Eva Mendes, the star of the upcoming action-comedy, The Other Guys, is no stranger to stripping down for nude and teensy, weensy Calvin Klein underwear shoots.
But now the 36 year-old admits that going naked is still “scary.” She even has to give herself pep talks when she’s on one of those sexy shoots — “If a negative thought pops into my head, I talk to the voice within me and say, ‘I know you want to tell me that I’m less than desirable, but not now. You can come back in a couple of days and cut me down when I’m done with this shoot.’”
Well, glad to hear you’re human, Eva. And that you’re not one of those catty girls that doesn’t like other women. “You know those girls who say they don’t have any girlfriends? I always say, run for the hills when you hear that!”
Good point, Eva. We’re also glad to hear that you’re not so girly that you can’t get outdoorsy. “I never want to be that girl who can’t climb the mountain because she’s wearing the wrong shoes.”
Well neither do we, though we really like the Dolce and Gabbana outfits you wore to your Allure Magazine cover shoot!
