Are you still rocking dark nails in the summer like Brittany Snow and Kristen Bell?

Brittany Snow and Kristen Bell both went to the Louis Vuitton and Vanity Fair cocktail party at the Louis Vuitton store on Rodeo Drive on July 12 with dark manis. Brittany went for a stark black while Kristen opted for a dark burgundy hue. I wouldn’t think twice if I saw these moody shades in the fall or winter but something about such dark nails on a warm summer night just seems out of place. I’m a far bigger fan of the ubiquitous aquatic colors this summer for nails. (Shop my fave blue hues here!) They’re fun, fresh and far less serious than darker hues.
