Lindsay’s lawyer drama is getting out of control with news former attorney Shawn Chapman Holley cannot quit until she finds new representation and father Michael chiming in on what she needs! This just 9 days before she is set to report to jail!

Lindsay Lohan‘s courtroom drama continues, this time as no one seems able to sort out who exactly is representing the soon to be jailed actress. Michael Lohan told EXCLUSIVELY, “I would never suggest an unseasoned attorney. Lindsay NEEDS a well respected, well healed and seriously experineced attorney.” The only problem is, who is that lawyer going to be?

Page Six is reporting today that our old friend Shawn Chapman Holley is currently stuck as Lindsay’s attorney. A source tells the paper, “The judge told Holley she can’t quit and leave Lindsay without representation. She has to stay on the case until Lindsay has a substitution of attorney filed with the court.”

TMZ however has an interview with Stuart V. Goldberg where he claims he is Lindsay’s new attorney. He says really amazing things like, “Instead of making her reactive, like a pin cushion, [we’re going] to be proactive. We’re gonna go after them.” I have no idea what that means but hey, best of luck!

Then, there is Radar Online who is saying Lindsay is still looking for a new attorney. “Stuart Goldberg is not Lindsay’s new attorney,” Lindsay’s New York legal rep Stephanie Ovadia told the site.

So it would seem Shawn is still stuck with Lindsay, they are looking for a new lawyer, and this lovely gentleman named Stuart just decided to declare himself her attorney and start giving interviews.

Lest we forget however, reports last week had Lindsay hiring Tiffany Feder Cohen, who just passed the bar in November, after Shawn quit.

Oh, and Lindsay is only 9 days away from when she is to report to jail if she does indeed plan on appealing.

Keeping up with all this is exhausting.
