If Oscar winner Adrien has his way, he’ll be stealing the role Joseph is meant to play!

Joseph Gordon-Levitt, beware! We know you’re director Christopher Nolan’s first choice to play The Riddler in the upcoming Batman movie, but Adrien Brody might just steal your thunder!

“”You got to be the villian, you got to give the Batman a run for his money, [playing] The Riddler would be fun”, the 37-year old Oscar winner told HollywoodLife.com exclusively at Lexus’ Darker Side of Green event in LA July 8. He added, “There is a lot you can do with that character. Christopher Nolan is a genius, and I am all for working with amazing filmmakers. If that was to be a reality how could I say No?”

Although the 29-year-old actor IS currently starring in Christopher’s newest film, Inception, and an insider told us he is “definitely on the short list’, Hollywood is notoriously fickle, and things could change. So watch this space, BFFs….

Lol@your sources. The JGL rumor is so bogus. There wont even be A riddler in the movie to begin with. Nolan wants Tom Hardy as the villain, anyway.

I don’t understand is why don’t yall have Jim Carrey to play the Riddler in the new batman movie. He’s to old to be playing the riddler again after he played em in the Batman Forever. Even though yall didn’t consider em let him try it out and see if he still has it which I know he does and I believe it’s pretty stupid that nobody has even thought of em. Just let Jim Carrey read the script and let em also do the part to see how it goes. Please don’t just think about it just do it.

Joaquin Phoenix should play The Riddler. He’d bring the same intensity and dark edge that Heath Ledger brought to The Joker.
