Yet another couple from the ABC reality bites the dus , this time after more than a year together!
After more than a year together and dealing with allegations of affairs, cheating, and hard-partying, former Bachelorette Jillian Harris has walked out on fiance Ed Swiderski. US Weekly reports that Jillian packed up her things and moved out of Ed’s Chicago apartment on June 21. “I love him and I’m really sad, but I have to look out for me,” Jillian told the mag.
The couple’s romance was problematic from the start, with Ed juggling two women while fighting for Jillian’s heart on the fifth season of the show. Then, in May, Jillian returned home from a trip to discover Ed had been texting old girlfriends. Ed defended his behavior on his blog writing, “Last I checked I do not live in a monastery, and I’m definitely a bit of a frat boy at heart.”
Jillian is not however saying this split will be final. “I’ve spent the last few years of my life making rash decisions and this isn’t going to be one of them,” she explained.
The couple will, of course, be forced to return the 3-carat, $60,000 Neil Lane engagement ring to ABC.
