Megan who? Insiders tell HollywoodLife.com the newest Transformers hottie is fitting in perfectly with director Michael Bay and even manages to distract co-star Shia!
Forget Megan Fox! Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has become the new Transformers maven, and our spies tell us the former Victoria’s Secret model and her on-screen love interest, Shia LaBeouf, have quickly become two peas in a pod… even when the camera’s AREN’T rolling.
“Everyone keeps calling Rosie ‘the new Megan Fox,’” one insider dishes to HollywoodLife.com. “Last Friday during the shoot, she and Shia kept laughing out loud together and the crew was desperately trying to get them to work. They seemed so distracted by each other!”
Rosie, 23, was chosen at the last minute by director Michael Bay to replace Shia’s former love interest, Megan Fox, in Transformers 3. The newly-paired couple shot scenes inside and outside of the Creative Artists Agency building in Century City, Calif., on July 2 — and insiders say the two leads have palpable chemistry.
“It’s a much more relaxed set and everyone is in a good mood,” one insider tells us, explaining that despite his seemingly easy-going approach, 24-year-old Shia takes his work with Rosie very seriously.
“Shia is loving Rosie’s work,” our spy dishes. “He likes the fact he is molding her, so to speak, in her acting debut. Shia is taking the job seriously on her behalf.”
Hopefully history repeats itself, BFFs! Shia never hooked up with Megan on set and we hope he doesn’t with Rosie, either, since he’s already taken by his Wall Street co-star, Carey Mulligan.
