Julianne Moore and Katy Perry spiced up their simple hair styles with pretty, small braids. Whose look do you like more?

We all know braids are a huge trend this summer, but sometimes, you want to wear your hair down, not up in an intricate braided look. That’s why I love how Julianne Moore and Katy Perry incorporated this trend in a more subtle way into their ‘dos. Julianne opted for a simple, small braid in the middle of her head at The Kids Are All Right premiere in NYC on June 30. I like how hidden and unexpected this little braid is. It adds just the right amount of whimsy and can work on women of all ages. Katy went for a more noticeable French braid at the front of her head while out in Paris, France on June 30. This is an especially great style for anyone who’s trying to get their bangs out of their face. So, what do you think of these two different styles? Who do you think incorporated subtle braids better?
