The ex-Vice President is firing back at allegations of a sexual assault by an Oregon masseuse — but police in Portland say they’re reopening the investigation into the alleged incident.
Al Gore is finally speaking out about allegations that he made “unwanted sexual contact” with an Oregon masseuse four years ago — and he’s completely denying the claims.
“Mr. Gore unequivocally and emphatically denied this accusation when he first learned of its existence three years ago. He stands by that denial,” says Gore family spokesperson Kalee Kreider.
The news isn’t all good for Al, though: The Portland police has reopened the investigation into the assault, according to RadarOnline.com.
Still, Gore doesn’t seem overly worried. “Further investigation into this matter will only benefit Mr. Gore,” says Kreider.
The National Enquirer reported two weeks ago that the alleged victim, a now-54-year-old massage therapist, was groped and assaulted by Gore in a hotel room in October 2006.
