After last night’s shocking and suspenseful episode of ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars, I’m starting to suspect that Emily’s old neighbor Toby isn’t who he appears to be!
I have to say, Pretty Little Liars is quickly becoming THE guilty pleasure of the summer! While last week’s episode was jammed pack with sex, alcohol, cheating and lies, the mysteries got even more scandalous in episode four!
When we last left our four little liars, Hanna (Ashley Benson) drove her boyfriend’s car right into a rock and crashed, while Spencer (Troian Avery Bellisario) shed her “good girl” image by submitting her sister’s old history paper to her teacher since she hadn’t even started the project! In the romance department, Emily (Shay Mitchell) was still coming to terms with her complicated feelings for Maya (Bianca Lawson), just as Aria (Lucy Hale) and Mr. Fitz’s (Ian Harding) relationship was starting to heat up.
This week the girls stand together to block all texts and emails from “A,” but she (or he) is finding even more despicable and intrusive ways to try to expose their secrets!
Hanna got not one, but TWO unexpected visitors this week. First, the police showed up to talk about how she fled from the scene of an accident. The second surprise visit came from her dear old dad Tom. Though Hanna thought it was going to be a great time to catch up with her father and explain the accident with boyfriend Shawn’s car, Dad had more to share with Hanna than she could have ever anticipated!
Meanwhile, Maya tried to show Emily how much she cares about her, but Emily still wasn’t ready to expose her secret feelings. As she was dealing with her hidden desires, she continued to bump into her old neigbor and resident loner Toby (Keegan Allen). The more time she spent with him, the less she feared him. It is interesting to note that Toby always happens to be lurk around her, suddenly appearing wherever she is. Stalker alert?
Though Aria and Mr. Fitz’s chemistry is undeniable, it’s hard to forget that she is a child and he is an adult. While Aria still believes she can fix the situation between her parents without exposing the secret she’s been keeping, “A” always has a way of being one step ahead of her.
Spencer, the overachiever, was honored with the highest achievement award. Too bad it was for her sister‘s paper which she knowingly stole. While trying to get herself out of the predicament of getting published with her plagiarized paper, Wren drunkenly stumbled back into her life. Will a relationship blossom between her and her sister’s ex?
Be sure not to miss next week’s all new Pretty Little Liars, because “A” is seriously stepping up his/her game and the girls are going to have to go to extreme lengths to keep what’s left of their secrets from being exposed!
