EXCLUSIVE: Kate Beckinsale Has A New Stylist…And It's Rachel Zoe's Former Assistant Taylor Jacobson!

This news is bananas!

I definitely didn’t see this one coming! After hearing that Taylor Jacobson, the former assistant to Rachel Zoe, was fired from her high profile job with the super stylist I didn’t think she was busy styling A-list clients — but it turns out that’s exactly what she’s doing! Multiple sources tell HollywoodLife.com that Rachel’s former right hand has been dressing Kate Beckinsale and pulling looks — in fact, she even contributed to the glam gowns the star wore while in Cannes for the Film Festival just a few months ago!

So, how did Taylor find her new client? For all of the Rachel Zoe Project fans out there, you may remember watching the team scramble around finding the perfect Oscar look for Kate in season two. Considering that Rachel recently told WWD that she fired Taylor for stealing — I guess it’s safe to say she wasn’t smuggling shoes!

I am surprised that Rachel trusted her staff so much that she didn’t have Taylor, Bradley or the others sign a Non-Comp contract. Even hairdressers in L.A. have them. Stealing clients from clueless bosses is the way people get ahead in this town. Sorry to say this to all the Talyor lovers but Rachel is the visionary Taylor is just a doer. Those were looks that Rachel pulled after the shows back in 2009 after the shows. So lets see what Ms. Taylor does for her client when her eternal pms sets in and without Rachel’s input.

“No Comp” agreements are illegal! They do not hold up in court. For a contract to be legal it must be consciencable. Nobody can interfere with another’s ability to make a living. But files, accounts & property cannot be stolen. They absolutely CAN compete!!

i think taylor is awesome! i think rachel is a sore loser and made up the whole story about stealing. really looking forward to taylor’s new adventures!! i hope bravo gives her own show~!! i would watch it

It is sad to hear Rachel say that Taylor supposedly stole from her. However, I believe Taylor has better style and class than Rachel. I believe Rachel wanted to keep Taylor tied to her and I am glad Taylor was released to be free. On the show, Rachel took too much advantage of Taylor. I wish Taylor the best in her new endeavors and hopefully, she will get a show of her own. Bravo Taylor!!!

i don’t care how fabulous kate looks… i think taylor is rude and ungrateful. she had a terrible attitude through out both seasons of rz and i was so not impressed. as far as i remember, she did very little styling and a whole crap ton of whining. not to mention, how god awful is her hair!? fail.

Go Taylor! Everyone knows you did all the work. Kate looks B looks pretty fly.

Taylor sorta lost some respectability by stealing from Rachel, unless what she stole was Kate, then who cares Taylor is a bitch not gonna miss her at all!
