Nikki Reed was the most beautiful gal on the Eclipse red carpet. Her makeup artist tells you how you can get her pretty premiere look!
During these summer months, sometimes a soft, understated look is far sexier than an in-your-face smoky eye. Just check out how gorgeous Nikki Reed looked at the LA premiere of Eclipse on June 24. The beautiful Twilight star paired a pink pout with a soft eye and a killer updo. “Nikki’s Marchesa dress was so beautiful and feminine so we went for a soft, ethereal look, with just a touch of girlish color on the lips,” says celebrity makeup artist Fiona Stiles who created Nikki’s winning look.
To get Nikki’s look, “I used a light application of foundation and a dusting of loose powder before adding a little rosy color to the cheeks – just a touch to keep it sweet,” Fiona says. She used Jouer Mineral Powder Blush in Rose.
“I wanted to have a light, easy eye, so I used a very light pink shadow (Cle de Peau Beaute Satin Eye Color in #114), up just past the crease in the eye, with a little of a lavender grey over it for depth (Jouer Powder Eyeshadow in Parfait),” she says. “Then, I popped a little of the light pink into the corners of the eyes to add a little light to the face.”
“Instead of liner I used a creamy taupe color from near the lashes for a softer definition, then a little mascara on the top and bottom to finish off the eyes,” Fiona says.
“A matte pink lipstick gave the look an easy sweetness,” she says. To copy Nikki’s pout, use Lipstick Queen Lipstick in Pink Sinner.
