I think I’ve finally found it, the perfect self-tanner for your face!
One of the most common beauty questions I get from my friends over and over again is “what self-tanner do you use on your face?” Well, I finally now have an answer that I am confident in recommending to them, and to you: Lancome Tinted Anti-Age Self-Tanning Face Lotion SPF 15 ($36). After testing what seems like every single tanner on the market I’ve finally settled on this new formula as my go-to sun in a bottle. Ok, it doesn’t magically make me look as gorgeous as Penelope Cruz, but it does make me as tan!
Why do I love it so much? First of all, the color is amazing. After just one application you have an instant gorgeous glow that develops into a deeper, richer tan in 30 minutes. Jasmine and honey notes in the tanner mean that you’ll smell yummy, never fake. Not only does it look great, it’s also good for your skin. This face-specific formula has SPF 15 and the potent antioxidant Vitamin E to protect against aging free radicals. Plus, it doesn’t break me out and I’m super prone to pimples. Although this formula should last up to five days, I prefer applying it every two to three since I’m a bit of an exfoliation addict and it tends to disappear with my continual sloughing. Since it has SPF, you can totally put this on in the AM. I, however like to apply it before I go to bed. Just a personal preference, not a must-do. Let me know if you go out and try this self-tanner. It’s truly amazing and I hope it gives you as great a faux glow as it does me!
