Rachel will have some major competition when a foreign exchange student with killer vocals invades McKinley High School next season!

Oprah Winfrey has called her the “most talented girl in the world”, and now international pop star Charice is going to be showing off her skills on Glee!

The 18-year-old singer is joining the hit Fox show as a foreign exchange student who may just out-warble vocal powerhouse Rachel Barry (Lea Michele), and in the process, becomes Rachel’s nemesis, confirms EW.

We can’t WAIT to see this battle of the divas!

How can Charice be a star when her album and single are flops? It doesn’t make any sense.

The stereo type ,tall , beautiful , blue-eyed . the african-american macho , the Latinos persist in American entertainment.

No Asian have really made it .They are novelties today .

Let us see if Charice can make it with all her talents and backers.

THe Bias is simply unbelievable. She has yet to go on screen !

To Angela, please give her a chance,I meet her , she’s humble nad very nice.Charice is international with million fans, so minus you as a viewer,,it means you are not important.

well, I wont mind having her on a couple episodes just not a permanent character on the show. new characters are so annoying they try to hard to copy original characters.
plus , I would like to see all the originals characters Rachel, Finn, puck, Mr.Shewster, Sue and the others go to college in a 4th season if they keep going on until then.

TO ALL CHARICE FANS and Chasters:

We should all be proud and inspired by WHAT Charice has ACCOMPLISHED…NOT WHO she is. She CAN NOT change the fact that she is FILIPINO, but she can change WHAT she wants to achieve in LIFE.

Also, MOST of her fans are actually NOT FILIPINO. In fact, sadly and ironically, most of the Charice HATERS are FILIPINO. So please, don’t say “filipino pride, proud to be filipino, etc.” It does NOT help Charice and only hurts her image. Keep that to yourself.

Charice is where she is today NOT because she is Filipino but because of the perseverance and hard work that she has endured. Be PROUD of Charice for what she has accomplished NOT the fact that she is Filipino.

The Poll question doesn’t make sense. Contradicting questions. Needs to be rephrased. Anyway, Charice and Rachel on Glee would be awesome. Another reason for me to stay home and watch Glee.

I agree the question is confusing. I have never watched Glee but I definitely will next season just to see Charice. This little gal is something else – did you hear her perform at Madison Square Garden with Celine Dion? Wow! She can give Lea a run for her money for sure in my opinion – plus she is cute as a button and has the stage presence too.

Don’t know if I like Charice’s style, sure she has a voice but I just watched several things and just not impresses.

I think she will have a challenge but in the end Rachel is the star of glee and the show. That is one of the main plots of the whole series.

Foreging exchange student will go home som time.

English is a second language for me but this is one poorly written question. So my answer is “No” to the first half of the question and “Yes” to the remaining half.
