Gaborourey Sidibe‘s mom, Alice Tan Ridley, has mad skills! The 58- year-old mom of Gabourey, famous for her Oscar-nominated performance in Precious, is pursuing her life-long dream of being a singer!
The NYC native made her big TV debut June 15 on America’s Got Talent, and she blew away the judges. The super-talented mom, and former nursery school teacher, says she’s been performing in NYC subways for over 20 years!
“I was singing since I was young,” she says. “Now I’m singing in subway stations”
