The actor admits to stealing drugs from a friend 20 minutes before his first audition for the vampire series while claiming he thinks he will die in 6 years!

For all those Twihards wondering how Robert Pattinson scored the role of laid back and relaxed vampire Edward Cullen in the megahit Twilight series the actor has finally revealed his trick – valium! In an interview with Nightline on June 14, the actor told Chris Connelly he started to panic 20 minutes before his audition with director Catherine Hardwicke but found a quick fix.

“Luckily the person I was staying with had half a valium on her bedside table so I just stole it. Probably one of the best decisions I ever made,” the actor said. Way to score Rob!

Rob also claims he thinks he will be dead by the age of 30 in the interview! “I guess I just thought if too many good things happen then you’re going to die at the 30,” the Brit says. “I didn’t want that to happen. Yeah so probably, I’m going to die at 30!”

You can expect to see a lot more of the actor in the coming weeks as he begins his press tour for the upcoming Eclipse.

This site is becoming more and more of a joke. I can’t stand the way you twist stories just to grab readers attention. You caught mine but I’m gonna call you on it also. You take things out of context.
