It would make Michelle oh so Gleeful to get a chance to perform on the Fox show!
Forget Destiny’s Child, a solo career or even Broadway. Singer Michelle Williams, 29, wants to go back to high school, with a guest-starring role on Fox’s hit series Glee! “I would love to” go on Glee, Michelle told HollywoodLife.com exclusively June 13 at the 2010 Tony Awards at NYC’s Radio City Music Hall. “Let’s put that out in the atmosphere!”
Michelle knows if she did get to go on Glee, it would be a HUGE deal: “I think all of us have something that we want to do or someone or something that we aspire to be,” she told us.
And because of Michelle’s current role in Chicago on Broadway as Roxie Hart, Michelle feels her acting chops are tuned enough for Glee. “Roxie of course wanted to be a star; she wanted all the fame, but she went about it the wrong way,” explained Michelle. “That’s what I took from the show and her career. We got to remember to do it the right way.”
If Michelle’s dream does come true, this would only add to the list of Broadway sensations to make special appearances on Glee, one that already includes Neil Patrick Harris, John Lloyd Young, Idina Menzel, Debra Monk, Victor Garber, and Kristin Chenoweth, to make special appearances on Glee.
Good luck, Michelle! We’d love to watch you on Glee!
