Kristen, you’ve had to have your hair cropped for your Runaways role, but since you started your Eclipse promo appearances — you’ve become a long hair girl again.
First, it was a pretty ponytail that made its appearances during the Eclipse premiere in Korea and at the MTV Movie Awards.
Now you turned up to tape an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Show on June 14, which will air on June the 23rd, and you were sporting long loose locks. So what’s the deal? How did you go from shorn-off “Joan Jett” hair to pretty long tresses?
“She’s added sewn-in ‘track extensions,’” explains extension specialist, Gilda Pastena, at NYC’s Pierre Michel Salon. “They’re made from human hair, take one to three hours to sew in, and last from two to three months.”
Pastena explains that these sewn-in extensions are available in both straight and wavy hair, and it appears that Kristen has chosen the wavy style.
Word is, these types of extensions have become so popular, that they are available in most reputable salons, and cost from $200 to $500.
And hey K-Stew they look so natural on you, they could be totally worth trying.
